I Live! and the Snapshot

I was recently reading up on one of Chase Jarvis' new projects: Dasein - An Invitation to Hang. I'll let you hit the links to get the full story on his project, but in a nutshell, at least the way I took it, was about the capturing the raw human existence through the snapshot.

I immediately thought of this picture I took of my daughter a few months back.  We were out playing basketball in the cul-de-sac on a slightly cold and overcast winter day.  And of course I had my camera sitting around...(gosh do you really think I go places without it much!).

The Indicator of Aspiration Surprised Me

One of my favorite photographers to follow is Jasmine Star (see my Six Fix group on front page).  During her recent Creative Live classes, she made reference to a book she highly recommends...The War of Art by Steven Pressfield.

Today I went to Borders and purchased that book.  It's a small paperback, easy read and only cost $13 ($9.71 online).  I'm on page 39.  And it is fantastic!

But today's breakthrough page for me is page 39 and I just had to share it with you.
