Well, it's our final day of the ♪12 Days of Fabulous of 2013 ♪.  We end this fabulous journey with Hayley.  When we sat down with Hayley and her mom for the creative planning session, it became apparent that Hayley and her mom wished for a photoshoot at a beach setting.  Hayley was born in California, and was very fond of the beaches as a young child.  So, naturally, they really wanted a photoshoot themed around a beach setting.  It goes without saying, that New Mexico is THE state with the lowest water to land ratio in the continental United States!  So as we started thinking about it, and schemed on the idea that maybe one of our lakes might suffice.

So a few days later, we all traveled up to Abiquiu lake to scout out the location.  It was a beautiful sunny day, and the lake was well received by our shining star of a subject.  We talked with the park rangers to make arrangements for the shoot and get the appropriate permits.

On the day of the shoot, the park ranger met us and informed us that a summer storm was brewing over the Jemez Mountains and was headed straight for the lake...we had maybe 45 minutes.  And in all honesty, I was delighted.  You see, clouds provide great dramatic backgrounds when lighting your subject a certain way.  And Mother Nature did not disappoint!

Until next time:  Love Yourself, Love Your Neighbor, and Stay Unique!
